This role requires provision of telephone/webchat support to clients seeking help with first-time Universal Credit claims.

Role Details

Role: Help to Claim Adviser

Hours: 35 hrs/week (Part-time considered)

Location: Hybrid (Home/East Lancashire)

Salary: Β£24,078.60

Key Skills Needed:

  • Strong communication & empathetic listening skills
  • Ability to calculate benefit entitlements accurately
  • Comfortable using digital tools and resources

You will calculate accurate benefit entitlements and, where appropriate, signpost and refer clients for additional help.

Additional Requirements

  • You will need to comply with the Advice Quality Standard, stay current with legislation, policies, and procedures, and undertake relevant training in line with a personalised learning and development plan.
  • You must have a secure, reliable internet connection and a willingness and flexibility to work hours between 8am and 6pm.
