Don't Let Water Bills Drown You: United Utilities' Back on Track Scheme

The program is designed for customers who are either on benefits or have a low income and are struggling to pay their bill due to recent financial changes, like job loss or a drop in income.

What is the United Utilities Back on Track Scheme?

Help to assist customers who are facing challenges in paying their water bills. If you're experiencing financial difficulties and concerned about paying your water bill, United Utilities can provide additional support through their Back on Track scheme.

What Support is Available from the Back on Track Scheme?

Depending on your individual circumstances your water bill will be capped at a lower amount for the year. To be eligible for the scheme you will need to provide details about your household income for United Utilities to assess how much you can afford to pay.

Who is Eligible?

The scheme is suitable for United Utilities customers either receiving benefits, or on a low income and finding it difficult to pay their bill following a recent change in financial circumstances (such as redundancy or a reduction in current income, etc.)
